At Redhills we are committed to working within the community with our clients to promote a better understanding of asbestos risk and management and to liaise with the community to create opportunities and to make the process of undertaking our services as seamless as possible by the following initiatives and opportunities. Asbestos in schools - We have created an information website and 32 page brochure to provide information to councils, schools, teachers and parents on asbestos risk and management. Access to the website, advice and the hard or soft copy brochure are available to everybody at no cost. The purpose of this is to create better awareness of both asbestos risk and how to manage this risk and has been well received. |
Resident Liaison Policy - As a business, Redhills are committed to liaising with tenants of residential properties on behalf of our clients in a proactive, professional and friendly manner. In this respect we work with a resident liaison policy that can be downloaded which details both our commitments to the residents and what we expect on arriving at a property. Apprenticeships - We are committed to benefitting local communities by recruiting apprentices from local job centres, colleges and apprenticeship initiatives and training them to undertake asbestos consultative services. We have a well-structured training programme which takes trainees/apprentices from unskilled to qualified consultants in 3-5 years depending on capability.
